Piper-Heidsieck Rosé Sauvage for VIKTOR&ROLF
Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren are Dutch designers who made a name for themselves in fashion and perfume. Ten years after the birth of their label VIKTOR&ROLF in 1993, their creative work was honored in a retrospective at the Musee de la Mode in Paris. Approached by Piper-Heidsieck for a new champagne design, they responded, “How could we make something new out of something eternal? We only had one answer: invert the proportions.” Their Rosé Sauvage for VIKTOR&ROLF turns the bottle, as well as the champagne flute and ice bucket, upside-down. The limited edition bubbly, a definite conversation starter, retails for $90 and is also offered at top lounges. The first lounge to serve it in Los Angeles, Whiskey Blue at W Los Angeles Westwood, offers bottle service for $225. |
