your next wine and cheese night, entertain your wine-loving
friends with the original game VitiVini. Created by wine experts,
VitiVini makes the world of wine enjoyably competitive while
being educational at the same time. The game consists of a
series of trivia questions focusing on five categories: Grapes,
Regions,
Winemaking,
History and Food
Pairing. Players take turns answering questions on the
“Question Cards” while simultaneously trying to
earn valuable “Fact Cards” to win the game. The
Fact Cards contain detailed information that may be helpful
in answering trivia questions as the game goes on.
Designed
for both wine novices and experts, ViniViti also includes
a brochure containing an overview on wine, wine regions, and
maps to help players out. It’s well-designed and informative,
but the game instructions can be complicated at times, which
may leave a room full of buzzed oenophiles slightly confused.
The beauty of the game, however, is its versatility. As the
night goes on, abandon the rules and start a wine drinking
game with the Question Cards—there are even different
levels of difficulty to help even the playing field!
