Tasting
Notes: Although
it is a 1996, this wine still has room to grow and evolve. A no-holds-barred
effort from one of the world leaders in Charbono - a dying breed, we
fear - it offers a wild ride of ripe blackberry, currant and eucalyptus
flavors and aromas. The finish is still a little rough; we look forward
to watching it mellow out with time. (Date tasted 08/26/00)
