While Tony Sargent, the creative talent, heads up the winemaking team, the Rubissow family manages the vineyards and the national marketing campaign. Mount Veeder's clay and shale, sloped terrain, combine with a climate of morning fog, the perfect conditions for the producing the bold, Bordeaux-style reds for which the winery is known.
