Jarvis Winery ProfileJarvis Wines Tasting Notes and Reviews
Profile: Tucked away in Napa Valley's eastern hills, Jarvis'
cooler climate location provides the kind of fruit for producing the
winery's two signature styles: tropical-fruit flavored Chardonnay and
intense Cabernet Sauvignon. Housed in a custom-built cavern, the winery's
experimental facility, complete with a running stream and waterfall,
provides space for the entire winemaking process to take place underground,
temperature controlled from crush to bottling.

Tasting
Notes: A fine example of Napa Valley Chardonnay,
Jarvis has created a well-balanced wine full of character and complexity.
Both the tropical aromas and flavors offer a level of delicacy beyond
most Californian creations, but as is our objection with many American
Chardonnays, we long for more fruit influence in the wine's full-bodied
flavors. (Date
