Tasting
Notes: Murky, deep, dark and purple, this
wine is textbook Merlot. The nose is subtle and slightly herbal, the
mouthfeel is fleshy and the flavors are fruit-forward. The finish falls
off a bit too fast, but it does bring out a pleasing cocoa component.
Soft, smooth, approachable, this is easily a bottle anyone could enjoy,
however, few will find it a favorite. (Date tasted 01/28/01)
