Tasting
Notes: Here comes the top white
offering from this Westside
Paso Robles winery. A thoroughbred of a wine with distinct
character, it's quite unique for California. Slightly chilled,
this crisp and bright wine will give you scents of white
flowers, pears and peaches. Good balance and a medium body
allied with flavors of honey, apricots and peach deliver
a pleasant moment in the mouth that lingers. Mediterranean
food lovers will enjoy it with any of their summer meals.

Profile:
Two of the international wine community's leading
families come together at Tablas Creek. The Perrin
family of Château de Beaucastel and Robert Hass
of Vineyard Brands have joined efforts, along with
winemaker Neil Collins, resulting in a Châteauneuf-du-Pape-style
vineyard. They scoped out a limestone plot on the
Central Coast, imported their very own plant material
from France and designated themselves as part of a
special growers association. All grapes used are estate
grown using organic farming methods. Each varietal
is hand harvested and fermented separately, to allow
wines to reflect the distinctive terroir of the vineyard.
No longer involved in producing or importing new plant
material, Tablas Creek has partnered up with Windrose
Farm to utilize its greenhouse facility for growing
organic produce available to the public.
